Has anybody spotted mistakes in the latest movie? Like the scene where Qui-Gon is preparing to go back for Anakin; Obi-Wan's padawan braid is on the opposite side!

I'm not talking about hidden 'easter eggs', secrets, etc. I mean real mistakes that made their way into the final cut.

How ’bout the space man in Mos Espa? You see him walking along appearing to be talking to himself‚ but in the distant shot you can see he has a companion (who was digitally removed in the close up).

There’s also a minor error in the CG on Watto somewhere where his clothing is momentarily mixed up with his skin.

There’s quite a few others‚ but I forget...

When the bouncing Gungan Energy Balls hits one of the AAT's, it's unharmed left blaster cannon falls off as if it had not been attached.

Also, Panaka says 'We'll be sitting DUCKS', and you may see a few flying around Theed, but;

A. The're not catalogued
B. They would not call them ducks in a universe where no other creature is called something supposedly from earth.

Ahh, yes, but in one of the ANH novels (or an early script, I can't remember), Ben tells Luke that he must follow in his father's footsteps and become a jedi, and uses the example of "a duck has to learn to swim". Luke asks what a duck is, and Ben realises that he's expanded the young boy's mind of the universe too much.

No, I'm not trying to sound mean, but they did the same thing in ESB. I think it was the scene where Han, Leia and Lando are walking to the room with Darth Vader. Han and Lando swap places in the space of a second.

In ANH, when the Stormtroopers unlock the door in the death star where R2 and 3P0 are hiding, one of the troopers on the right side of the screen nails his head off of the bottom of the half open door.

I'm fine now. I just had a username problem and I seem to have been banned for a while. I watched TPM today, and a few things did not seem to make sense.

>3PO complains 'where is everybody?'. If he cannot see, how does he know that more than one person (i.e. Anakin) is in the room?

>The Gungan Army could have destroyed the whole droid army by disabling the unactive droids when they were being distributed by the MTT.

>Also if you look carefully, one large energy ball destroys a whole row of droids. If the Gungans got in a line and caterpaulted five or six of the large balls toward the army, they would have all been electricuted in a couple of seconds.

That’s like asking‚ “How did he know there were any lights?” when someone says‚ “Who turned out the lights?”

Not without dropping their shield.

There were too many droids for that and the Gungans didn’t have enough catapults anyway (you must have been watching the pan & scan version). Besides‚ the droids would have lined up differently if the Gungans had done that. Also‚ if you look carefully‚ you’ll see that sometimes they only destroyed one droid.

Tom: the shield functioned by repelling high velocity objects. That’s why the droids could walk through it.

High velocity, hey?
They could roll a caterpault through slowly and manually shoot out a volley of balls.
Sure one or two gungans might get slaughtered, but thousands die in the end... I think. I have only the pan n' scan version, and I WILL get the DVD when and if it comes out.
