My favorite made up character is Kioet Csuhen, he was once an imperial officer, defected to the New Republic after Darth Vader and the Emperor were destroyed at endor. He's an infiltrator.

I'm what writers call a character writer: I create characters first, then build the story (plot, setting, tone) around them.
