can i make armor and armbands change my appearance only using kotor tool and if so how?

Yup; you create a armband .uti, and in the properties tab add the disguise option; so you can be any charachter in game... Here is an example for you to look through; http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Monsters;85916)
