I recently bought Curse of Monkey Island...

The Problem is I install it and then when I try to play it it asks me to install direct x 5... every time I do it does the same thing every time and won't even start the game.

I installed direct x 9.0c to see if that would work and no.. still the same stupid message..

Please I have been dying to play it and it won't let me....

buy the way its not a hardware problem.... Its hard to find a computer now days that is not compatible..... any help is appreciated

Go there, install ScummVM and add the game. You may need to copy the files from both cds into a single directory.
