That answers your question exactly. When you download a mod, you take the 3-digit folder from the mod, and copy/paste it in your addon folder, the instructions to get there were located in the hyperlinked thread.

ok i made a addon folder and put it in but still nothing happens
You need to unzip the file (right-click "extract files"), take the three-digit folder, and copy/paste THAT into your addon folder.

oh no.... I can't extract things, it won't let me on dropdown
"Left" click on the zipped folder and when it opens you will see on the left:
"Extract", just click on "extract" and follow the instuctions that are given.
