Although, I'm not a Trek fan, I had the impression that Star Trek battles include capital ships , not snub-fighters.I may be wrong...

There are Federation Fighters, Runabouts (large shuttles), shuttlecraft and a few other various fighters.

Well, maybe you should just buy Star Trek: Armada, Sata. I hear it's cool.
