i cant even boot up! it goes to black screen and then goes back to desktop

runnin directx 9.0b, non hyper threaded p4, got patch, runnin in 16-bit mode, compatibility mode and without compatibility mode

i tried lots of stuff, is there anything else i can do?

im usin geforce 3 ti 500 vid card also

im usin geforce 3 ti 500 vid card also downgrade directx to 6.1 if possible
