I have minimal eye-hand coordination skills and these jumps onto moving objects that need to be timed are defeating me. What's the secret on these jumps to a moving platform? Is there another way to get to the top so I can return to the gear room?

Unfortunatly there is no other way. There are no secrets to making it other then good timing.
