donґt know how to get the platform down for the plant

you need to give us more info, the
plant thing is at LEAST three steps,
and it's unclear where you are.
are you in the main (statue) room with
the ladder?
go to the beam and across to button,
that moves the ladder, and you go back
NOT down! and over...
if it's later in the process (the gold
platform etc.) please describe.

i am standing in the main hall - got the plant from the water - above the front door ist a platfrom - to heigh to reach - there i think i have to put the plant - for getting light on it-
(excuse my english - i am from austria - and .. have a german version of the game ... )
I think that you are in the last part of it.
First put the plant back in its place
Get on the beam going through the middle of the room by getting on the platform in the middle. The go to the middle and use the whip to get onto the platform. A cutscene will follow and then you have to take the plant to the woman.
