I gave the plant to the old woman, and the doors opened. I went down the slide, and I am now confronted with the Ice Guardian. I have been to all the rooms, got the Medicinal Plant, but now, I dont know where to go or how to beat the Guardian.... any help?

You need to find the machine part to beat him.

another hint. Look up to places you can go
and then make sure you are going in the
right direction. I spent quite some time
running on "shaky ground" and then realized
I was a)going the wrong way
and b)had inadvertantly blocked off the path
I needed to take.

I did not love that old ice guardian. Killing him takes some time and timing too.
and THEN I had a hang/glitch with the exit.
yerg. But I've finished the game except for the bonus level, so fear not.
