I'm going to have to restart King Solomons Mines again because the oil can won't oil the switch no matter what angle or method you do it in. I hope Lucasarts starts fixing these. Buy now, patch later just isn't right.

Make sure that your not oiling the 4th switch in the map building but the actual sign\switch along side the tracks.
